Darin Olde, APRN

Darin Olde established his career in health care in 2005. He graduated with honors in Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1998 and later returned to the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2003 to pursue a second major in nursing. He graduated with honors in 2004 and started working in the ICU in 2005. He worked in a variety of nursing roles as an RN and in 2008, he started to work on his Master's degree in nursing at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He graduated in 2011 and passed the ANCC board exam in family practice, and began working full time in primary care. From 2017 to 2022 he worked in acute care, predominantly with Renown Hospitalists, before joining Cancer Care Specialists in August of 2022.

After having finished his formal education, he has graduated with distinction, having been published in academic journals, and earned several awards including Outstanding Graduate Student from UNLV in 2011. 

 

He has been a member of several honor societies and volunteer organizations in Northern Nevada's communities, including the Reno Wheelmen and the Nevada Interscholastic Cycling Association. When not working at Cancer Care Specialists, Darin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and exploring Sierra Nevada mountains. ​
